Among Sunflowers

5 hours Copic and Prismacolor pens. Inspirational music by Shimokawa Mikuni, who did (I think that's the Japanese name) "Sore Ga, Ai Deshou (That's Love)," which is the openning theme song from "Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu."

I was really inspired by the shot of Tessa sitting in the sunflower field that I spent today working on a piece with both Alisica and Satori (Sister Grettle) in it. Here, our resident fRO (former-) nuns are basking in the beautiful summer sun. Knowing Alisica, she's probably invited a few other people along and has a picnic ready. Her and Satori probably looking at them right now...

I am so happy with the sky and flowers that I cannot begin to describe. The pens helped a lot to get the right texture and blend that have been eluding me up 'til now.

I hope you all like this picture as much as I did while making it (had me worried at some times but I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out).
